This sander is slow and gentle, and is best for finishing or new floors.
It is NOT meant to remove floor finish or other build-up.
Sander is best used on new unfinished floors or to sand between coats of varnish.
Works well on softwood decks with minimal build-up, too.
Removing/leveling extreme warping and cupping will be a slow process.
This sander is most used for sanding decks.
